Blue Sapphire Golf & Resort
|
This 7,000-yard, 18-hole course is located about a
sapphire mine and is only accessible by rugged motor vehicle or river. It is
tricky to get to but worth the effort. The green fee for weekday visitors is
200 Baht and 300 Baht at weekends. The club has few facilities.
The course is located in the wonderful blue sapphire mine in Kanchanaburi
province. The golfer can access there by either land transportation or river
transportation. |

Kwai Resotel Kanchanaburi 
Nestled on the bank of Kwai Noi River, River Kwai Resotel is surrounded
by the mountain, and faced with the high cliff and is set in a private
land located just 60 kilometres from Kanchanaburi city. Recreational
activities include elephant riding, rafting, fishing, mountain biking,
canoeing and walking to Lawa Cave.
Among the accommodations is charm of thatch-roofed Thai cottages. All
the 56 rooms are air-conditioned and have an en suite bathroom. Guests
can take a sip at the cosy cocktail bar or take a dip at the swimming
