The Banyan Golf Club Hua Hin

Located just south of town, no expense has been spared in constructing this totally new course out of former pineapple plantations. This is the top course in Hua Hin.
Black Mountain Golf Club, Hua Hin

Peaceful tranquil surroundings, with valley meeting mountain range create
the backdrop for the Black Mountain golf course. It is a course ready to
please the experienced as well as the average golfer.
Springfield Royal Country Club, Cha-Am

Beautifully maintained, the Springfield Royal Country Club presents the
golfer with a wonderful, 18 beautifully designed, landscaped holes - each
challenges your senses of aesthetics as well as your golfing skills. It is a
true Jack Nicklaus masterpiece. A championship course with five sets of tees
to play from, the course offers varying degrees of difficulty that
accentuate the dramatic lush landscape. Be prepared for some long carries if
you are brave enough to p0lay from the back tees. It is one of the best
courses you will ever play!
Palm Hills Golf Course & Country Club, Cha-Am

On Petchakasem highway just 8km before Hua Hin. Links/seaside course. A
most pleasant course by Max Waxler with good use of rocks and flowers to
decorate holes that mostly follow the natural terrain spilling down from
wooded hills behind. 18 holes 6373 yards. Par 72. Pro shop driving range
putting green.
Imperial Lake View Golf Club, Cha-Am

25 minutes north up the coast road from central Hua Hin. Very imaginative
and challenging 27 holes of golf by Roger Packard. Rolling mounds large
greens lakes and palms. 18 holes 6915 yards. Par 72 plus new 9 holes. Hotel
pro shop putting green.
The Majestic Creek Country Club

25 minutes drive directly inland on Huay Mongkil Road from Hua Hin town
backing up to low hills. Plenty of streams and water hazards on this rolling
challenging but well-maintained course. 18 holes 6961 yards. Par 72. Pro
shop driving range putting green.
Royal Hua Hin Golf Course

In the centre of Hua Hin town, right by the railway station. Built in 1922
this is the oldest +proper' golf course in the Kingdom. Historic very
natural golf running back into wooded hills offering sensational views. 18
holes 6654 yards. Par 72. Pro shop driving range putting green.
Hua Hin Milford International Golf Course

Designer Robert McFarland has used one of the most interesting sites in
Thailand to good effect. The course is surrounded on three sides by forested
hills. From the clubhouse, panoramic sea views give the course a 'links'
atmosphere.
Dragon Hills Golf & Country Club
Those familiar with Tolkein’s Lord of the Rings trilogy will be
instinctively enamoured with the Dragon Hills’ course. Set amongst
Rachaburi’s scenic hills, the Jim Engh, Isao Aoki and Jack Nicklaus designed
courses-Dragon Pearl, Dragon Green and Dragon Lakes-boat 54 holes
incorporating undulating fairways and greens, lateral water hazards, ‘water
carry holes’, dog leg holes and a more than subtle placement of bunkers.
Royal Rachaburi Golf Club
A dream course! Situated right in the center of the triangle Bangkok -
Kanchanaburi - Hua Hin, ideal to play during a tour to River Kwai or from
Kanchanaburi to Hua Hin.
Sawang Resort Golf Club
Opened in 1993 from an Isao Katsumata-designed concept, Sawang Resort
Golf Club provides a good test for players of all levels.
Kaeng Krachan Country Club
The first thing that strikes one when going to Kaeng Krachan is that the
course is more than 15 kms from the entrance. The next thing is the course
length - 7,331 yards off the back tees. Because of its location, the course
is rarely busy. |
